Many peers have suggested that a newsletter is a must for an artist — a way to connect with collectors, audiences, and industry people. It took me a long time to warm up to this idea. First, I am no writer. I often find that written work is my weakest skill, though recently I have come to feel it is necessary that I learn to articulate my thoughts through writing. Secondly, I was not sure what to share with you.

After leaving this idea at the bottom of my to-do list, I now feel compelled to connect with others through something that isn't Instagram. This approach is not new; I'd simply like to share musings, inspiration, process, and more with you. The cadence will not be consistent — I will only share when I feel I have something interesting to offer.
